Engagement Vision Statement
“Successful Community Engagement will “spark” the ideas and hopes of community members. People of all ages, races, socio-economic background and abilities, across all section of Flint will be included and no one will be excluded. The process will equip participants to make informed contributions while drawing on their insights and interests. It will remove barriers to participation by developing a flexible schedule and accommodating childcare/transportation needs. It will result in a plan where community members hear their voices in the final product and become involved champions for its implementation.”
